UV-L 110 disinfection unit

Fan-assisted UV-C disinfection device that makes the air we inhale cleaner & healthier by significantly reducing the risk of airborne infections.

When operated, it works to eliminate viruses, bacteria & fungi, including SARS, CORONA viruses, and mould, by continually exposing the micro-organisms in the air to the UV-C light.

Principle

  • An internal fan sucks stale infected air into & through the UV-L unit (up to 120 Cubic m/hr).
  • The air is disinfected by the 2 powerful internal UV-C lamps (Bulbs: Philips UV-C 55w).
  • Clean disinfected air is extracted back into the room creating a healthier living environment.
  • A single pass through the UV-L can deactivate more than 99% of pathogens in the air.

  • Ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) breaks down certain chemical bonds and scrambles the structure of the organism, making it unable to reproduce within the host and no longer infectious.
  • Signify and Boston University validates the effectiveness of UV-C in inactivating 99% of the SARS-CoV-2 virus within 6 seconds.
